Saghand   uranium   deposit   with
          1,550,000  tons  ore  reserve and  553  ppm average
    grads  is located  in  northeast of  Yazd province in   central
Iran  desert (Kavir).
After accomplishment of geological and exploratory operation and
preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, at the present time
mine  development  is  under operation  and  it is expected  to   be
finished  by the end  of  2004.  After  development  stage ,  which
means  opening  the mine ,  exploration  activities  will  be  started.
The  lifetime  of  mine  from  the  beginning of  year  2005  with  a
capacity  of  1,200,000 tons of ore to be  as  yearly  production is
anticipate 17 year.
