The main tasks of this department
        are formulation of policies and preparing long, medium
  and short term programs for Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) as well as preparing the progress reports for development projects and recurrent activities of AEOI in seasonal, yearly and five-year basis.
     The mission of the department also includes conduction of  techno-economic feasibility studies of different nuclear projects as well as scientific reviews of nuclear science and technology in the world.
