Effective Implementation of Safety and Radiation Protection Requirements need close consideration of Developments in Nuclear Technology and stringent surveillance of Nuclear Installations and Radiation application Centers.
Safety and Radiation Protection Technological Center established in 1987 with comprehensive inspection and contamination control system in imported foodstuff. Now the Center is consisted of three divisions for:

Radiation Protection Control Measures.
Safety surveillance of Nuclear Installations
Technology Development and Radiation Application Enhancements.


The Center provides also services in these areas to the different divisions of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and other institution of the country.
