The  facilites  of  this  Center  consist  of
                    an   irradiation   system  and  related  laboratories,
             whitch   provide   sterlization   of   medical   supplies  and
     disinfecting  services  of  food  and  hygienic  products.

    The  Center  is  also  involved  in  research  and  developement  in
    the  fields  of   microbiology,   polymer  science,   food  irradiation,
    high  dose  dosimetry   environmental   monitoring,  and  electronics.
    An   operating   crew  is  also  in  charge  of  the   routine  operation
    and  maintenence  of  the  irradiator  system.
    These  activities  are  explained  in  more  details &nbspin  the  following
    sections.
