A.E.Likhachev, Chief Executive of Rosatom and L.S.Jagaryan, Russian Ambassador to Iran in separate messages dispatch condolences remarks to Dr. Salehi, Vice- President and the Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran on the sad demise of distinguished Dr. Ahmadian as follows.
Dear Mr. Salehi
We were deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing away of the Vice- President of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran M. Ahmadian.
We knew Mr. Ahmadian in the Russian atomic industry as a trusted friend and partner, competent leader and a high-professional specialist. The experience in working together for completion of the construction and commissioning of unit 1 of Bushehr NPP and for preparation for construction of the subsequent units of this power plant has connected us with him. There were ambitious plans for the future.
On behalf of the whole management of the State Energy Corporation and JSC “Atomstroyexport” I ask you to accept our words of compassion and solidarity in this painful hour.
We would ask to convey our sincere condolences to M. Ahmadian’s family and relatives.
His blessed memory will live forever in our hearts.

You have my deepest condolences on the premature passing away of the Vice- President of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran M. Ahmadian.
His passing away is a serious irreparable loss for you and your organization. Doctor M. Ahmadian was without any exaggeration a top quality professional, a person of exceptional intelligence and extraordinary energy who had deserved the respect of colleagues and enormous credibility with the Russian partners.
M. Ahmadian was a recognized expert in nuclear industry, who had delved in all processes of the life-cycle construction and operation of NPP.
He was directly involved in the commissioning of Unit1 of Bushehr NPP as well as he had made significant efforts to start the construction of Unit2 of Bushehr NPP.
I ask you to express our sincere condolences to M. Ahmadian’ relatives and close friends.
He remains always remembered in the hearts of those persons who had known him.
