- Dr. A.A. Salehi, President's deputy and AEOI head through a message warmly congratulated the appointment of General Salami as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as the following:
- Dear brother General H. Salami, I would like to congratulate your deserved recent appointment as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).
- The presence of a personality such as you revolutionary, insightful, and thoughtful in such a sensitive and holy position is a vital sign of your ability, wisdom and sagacity in carrying out the objectives of your predecessors to bring about new thoughtfulness and tireless efforts for the realization of the just aims of the Islamic Revolution.
