-Dr. Salehi, President's deputy and AEOI head, recently, in an exclusive interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Corporation, announced the following points:

-Despite the U.S exit from JCPOA, no problem has occurred in the processes of excavation, research-development and construction of new power plants. Related activities such as radiopharmaceutical production or building of specialized function hospitals continue unabated.

Unilateral sanctions imposed by the U.S has left no effect on Iran's nuclear activities and a major part of our projects are either self-dependent or rely on countries such as Russia which has firmly abided by its commitments.

The second Bushehr power plant is progressing and it is hoped that up to the next 6 years will reach operational phase and, upon 2 years after that, third plant will enter the related cycle.

Dr. Salehi added that, enrichment of new elements such as Xenon and Tellurium has also become possible with the Russian assistance that puts Iran among the few countries possessing such a technology.
