Dr. A. Salehi, AEOI head and I.R. of Iran Vice President on the sidelines of attending the third international conference on Nuclear Security in Vienna for the first time held talks with the IAEA head, Rafael Grossi, as follows:
Dr. Salehi expressed content over the IAEA approach in technical cooperation projects envisioned so far particularly with regard to the safeguard issues considering their sensitive nature.
Besides technical matters, Dr. Salehi stressed on the vital political impartiality of the Agency and rather placing emphasis on its professional tasks.
Dr. Salehi reiterated that Iran welcomes fair talks and logical approaches, but will not yield to unjust pressures.
Mr. Grossi, in return while appreciating Iran's cooperation in different fields asked to maintain the current trends in future.
